Friday Fever: Vacation Mode
I am back and home! There's no place like home. The sound of the tweeting birds, the sun, the ground, the trees and sleep that I can get as long as I want and eat much more healthy food than on the ship. Working in a ship for 6-7 months in a contract is pretty damaging. I'm not complaining I'm actually happy that I have a good job that can travel to different countries, unless you're on the same ship until you never know when you'll be moved which creates boredom syndrome. It is different from a land base job; the work is isolated and when you want to escape there's no way to go unless you jump overboard or wait till the ship dock to another port. It is pretty difficult to deal with at first, seeing the same people, doing the same job everyday and the only thing changes is the guest. They already use the term SSDD (Same Sh*t Different Day) as a quote of a normal seafarer. But it is always fun to work on a ship, because you eventually go to different places and that is what I enjoy about my job.

So! I can never be excited as much as I am right now especially I am here in my couch updating my blog,
sharing all kind of things I can share along the way. The downfall of working far too long on a ship is you're not in track of what's going in the outside world. What I did the first thing I arrive home is to download movies, download mangas, update, update as much as I can. That is actually what I've been doing the past days. I can never be happier to have my favorite mangas to read.

But there's more to my vacation than being in my home. I won't be staying in my country though I'll be going sometime soon to see my fiance's country. He lives in Dubrovnik, Croatia. I made a few research about it and I can say how beautiful it is. As far as I know Game of Thrones actually shoot some episode there as the King's Landing. I am excited and I cannot wait to experience it myself. Having a vacation with my future hubby is a dream come true and it is a matter of waiting and praying.
I guess that is it. Ciao for now!

Ivy
