The Mutharts goes to New Orleans Part 1
Hia! I'm back again for another blog and I'm going to share about our little trip to New Orleans, Louisiana. This trip won't happen if it weren't for Frontier. Subscribe or sign up to receive great deals and offers, they do email great deals and discount.
We got the deals for $20 and we booked it way back March. We planned the trip and make sure we get information on what to do there. I say to discover is an adventure! We're pretty excited about it because it is our first trip together literally just the two of us. We don't know anybody there so it'll be a first for me and husband. We made our bucket list and our goal is to reach that together. We wanted to visit all the states and possibly popular city in the US, then travel out of the country whenever the opportunity comes.
Anyways, we went for 3 days, instead of getting a hotel we got our selves a place through AIRBNB and we definitely got a good private room in the heart of Orleans. The Casa Blanca of Jay the awesome host, which give us a walkthrough of the colorful house was amazing. He was also very informative and knows what to do and where to go in New Orleans. If planning to go on a trip you have loads of choices when it comes to the place to stay especially if the trip is budgeted. Either hotel or book through AIRBNB. I don't want to say you can't go wrong with it, but it's true.
Our flight was early so we arrived there about 9 in the morning since we don't check-in until 2 or 3pm we decided to go downtown. We've researched how to get around New Orleans and getting a taxi cost $33, we found out about the bus ride only cost $1.25 or they have RTA and a whole day pass cost only $3.00. We got that and the drive takes at least 45 minutes including the stop. Getting there was a bliss, new city, new town for me. As for my husband, he has been there with his friends but didn't really get the chance to go around New Orleans and discover what it offers. That's our goal and one thing that we want to try is the food. Arriving in the French Quarter we took some videos and photos before heading to Daisy Dukes. That is our first place to get some brunch and it is funny my husband says it is like Hooters, but looks like it is a more southern atmosphere. They have good foods! So, don't forget to try Daisy Dukes. After our brunch, we went to stroll around and take photos.
We took the bus from the airport and walk to French Quarter.
Busy day stocking during the day, busy night with people going drunk and partying.
I love the architect and design of this place. Literally French quarter and perfect for that Instagram shot!
This is the lobby/lounge of the place we stayed at. We got it in air bnb! Thanks Jay for being a wonderful host!
Here's a video of our first day in New Orleans!
